Collection: Laptop Stands

Laptop stands for a desk, including risers that hold the laptop open, vertical stands for a closed laptop, and folding travel models

Laptop Open or Closed?

A laptop stand lifts your laptop off the desk surface and holds it at a set height or angle. The first thing to decide is whether you want the laptop open or closed. Riser stands hold it open and raise the screen, and most people pair them with a separate keyboard and mouse. Vertical stands hold the laptop closed on its edge to free up desk space, which only works if you are running it on an external monitor. After that, the differences are smaller. Some stands adjust for height and angle while others sit at one fixed position. Some have a rotating base so you can turn the screen toward someone next to you. A few detach or fold flat for a bag. Vertical stands usually have an adjustable slot, so check it against the thickness of your closed laptop. Before ordering, check your laptop size and weight against the limits the stand lists.
